F.A.Q.

How Long Will It Take?
Each job is different and there are variables in project complexity.  In a typical construction project there are many different work   segments that have to be scheduled and coordinated in order for the work to proceed smoothly and uninterrupted. Even with the      best laid plans, work is sometimes delayed while waiting for inspections, scheduling conflicts, and/or special order materials. Weather conditions also have an impact on work schedules. We'll get the job done as fast as possible.  All we ask is that you allow us the time to do the job right.

What If I Want To Make A Change?
Once you have decided on a plan it is best to stick to that plan as changes can increase the cost of your project.  However, we are used to dealing with changes and will work with you to accomodate any changes you request.  Any change from the original contract  will require your written approval and is called a 'Change Order'.  Change Orders can be performed on a "time & materials" basis (cost plus), or for a fixed price if possible.  We would work together to decide which method is appropriate.

How Do I Pay For My Project?
Depending on your project type, you may be required to sign a 'Letter of Intent' stating that you agree to pay pre-determined  pre-contract fees for preliminary work that we provide prior to signing a contract. The fee is submitted with the signed letter. In addition, there is a deposit required at time of contract signing, both for Design/Build and Building Contracts.  Progress payments Building Contracts. Progress payments are billed during various stages of the construction process.  Prompt payment is always  appreciated and prevents work delays or stoppages.  See the "How It Works" portion of this website for additional information.

How Do You Keep My House Secure?
We put a secure lockbox on your door and your house key(s) are placed inside.  Only authorized personnel have access to the key(s).

What's the proper channel of communications for my project?
Your first line of communication once the job is underway is with the Job Superintendent who is almost always at the jobsite.   Maintaining clear communications is important to the success of the project. You will be provided with cell phone numbers to all the principal players as well.
