Klockner
Joseph founded Klockner & Company in 1982. He has over 40 years experience in the construction industry having been raised in the family steel business building bridges in New Jersey. In the early years, Joseph worked as a carpenter, electrician, and plumber, performing multiple trade aspects of every job. Finally, he realized that his best talents lay in managing projects and developing relationships with architects, designers, and specialists in the various trades. Joseph nurtured the company through its early growth years, as it moved from row house renovations in Washington, DC to sophisticated commercial high-end finish work on elaborate historic projects. Finally, he led us into the development of custom homes, settling into a niche of high-end residential additions and rehabs in Northwest Washington, DC; Montgomery County, MD, and Northern Virginia markets. Joseph lives in Takoma Park enjoying visits with his son Leif (a law student at the Catholic University) and his daughter Nikita who works with american servicemen and women in Germany.
