Bethesda Pool project

Contemporary home needed a pool/spa for the unique needs of its owner who wanted to use the area all year round. The arrowhead–shaped pool had to be constructed on top of an undisclosed landfill area, which required a unique structural retaining wall system to hold the pool in place.

The design incorporated custom tiles and a stained concrete wraparound patio that included a separate area for the spa.

Every October, the expansive air-blown dome bubble is erected to cover the steaming waters for the next seven months, so the pool can be used for therapeutic use all year round.
