Blue Ridge Mountain Home



Nestled into the hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwestern Virginia in 1999, this custom designed and built home presented numerous challenges. We incorporated timber-framed construction in the Great Room/Kitchen, a super-insulated concrete foundation, and multiple levels accommodating the desired entertainment functions. The wraparound decks overlook the private pond, spa area, and uniquely landscaped property. Klockner & Co was chosen to construct this home by friends from the DC area who knew of his connection to the trades in this unique area of southwest Virginia, where Joseph Klockner lived and worked for ten years during the 1970s.
