A Starter Home in Historic Takoma Park



We all enjoyed the remodeling of this bright little yellow house, when the young family needed to add play space for new babies, along with an extra bathroom on the first floor. They also wanted a somewhat larger master bedroom and bath to give some privacy to the adults within the new space created on the second floor. We added a modest deck, scaled to the small size of the house, but big enough for as many toys as you would want to pick up! And their realistic goal was neatly and quickly accomplished for a budget well under $200,000.
